MY MATERIAL SEASON
(マイ・マテリアル・シーズン)
2005年11月、Yoshihiro Nozaki(Ds、Piano&Synthe)とYuya Sakurai(Gt)により結成。
オーディションと数回のライヴ後にメンバーを整え、2008年7月に自主制作にて6曲入りEP「Eyes of Enemy」をリリース。好評を博し、初回プレスは3ヵ月でソールドアウト。
同年Lights out Recordsのコンピレーション・アルバム「THE REDHOT BURNING HELL.Vol.16」に2曲を提供。
さらに翌2009年にも4曲入りEP「Commit Suicide in the Paradise Lost」をリリースし、国産メロデス・マニアから大きな支持を得ることに成功する。
これまでの作品の好評を受けて、バンドは1stアルバムの制作へと突入し、同年に待望の1stアルバム「Mind of You Fragile in Vitriform」をLights out Recordsからリリースする。
アルバムは好評を博し、ブラジルやポーランド、ドイツからコンピレーション参加や、WEBインタビュー等、海外からの問合せも増え始めるが、ちょうどその頃にNozakiの持病が悪化し、長期の入院を余儀なくされる。
Nozaki退院後すぐに2ndアルバムのレコーディングに入り、約1年半の制作期間を経て、2012年に2ndアルバム「Bridal Aisles of Tragedy」をLights out Recordsのサブ・レーベルWhite Ashよりリリース。さらに同年5月にはボーナス・トラックを収録して1stアルバムも再発される。
2年以上の制作期間を経た2014年3月5日、Walküre Recordsより3rdアルバム「Awaking to the Piano Dramatic」をリリース。
2016年には、全6曲の組曲構成からなるミニアルバム「Desire in the Black Material」をリリースした。
